Pro: The 'cheap' plastic seems so far it will be decent and modern plastics seem to be a lot more durable while being lighter and more flexible. Pro: I forgot how much I hate to clean carpets and how gross it is once you see the dirty water when you empty the machine. BUT with it's level of quality, the dirt water is JUST AS GROSS and disgusting as much more expensive machines. So it does work. Pro: It does set up very easily and it does fill and empty very very easily compared to other vacuum type appliance where sometimes getting the 'cup' lined up and snapped back in (or hard to remove), THIS ONE IS VERY EASY TO SNAP IN AND OUT BOTH THE CLEAN WATER TANK AND THE DIRTY WATER TANK without any stuggle. The cleaner is exactly what I was looking for. It's light-weight, easy to use, and cost effective.
Of course it doesn't 'steam' but warm water works well for normal cleaning. I've used it 3 times so far. Owning a basic carpet cleaner will prevent carpets from getting too dirty before one inevitably has to either schedule a cleaning or lug a rental to-and-fro. This is not a high-power machine, but if you clean regularly it should do fine at keeping carpets clean (especially high traffic areas). It's very easy to assemble, setup and use, and carpets dry quickly. Words can't describe the extracted water; if you purchase, you'll see for yourself.

I pulled this little thing out of the package and an hour later my carpets looked like the day we moved in. Its not heavy-duty, there were some spots I pretreated and they did come out.
It has a really quick set up. We just have carpet in our upstairs (3 bedrooms and a family room). If I had more carpet in the house, I probably would have gotten something bigger, but for my area its perfect. Bottom line: If your looking for some monsterous commercial steam machine, drop the $400+ and buy one. If you want something economical, that does a great job and is easy to pull out at 3 am when the kids puke all over the carpet I highly recommend it. Pros:.Does a great job cleaning.Easy set up and easy clean up.light weight.Small to store.Price (Paid $70.00) Cons:.No attachments (at least the model I got).Small tanks, can clean about 100sq/ft before emptying.Does not heat water.Name is mislead - its more of an extractor than a steamer.
